Control your MAG IPTV box from Control4, over IP

This IP driver for Control4 OS 3.x works with Infomir MAG IPTV/OTT set-top boxes. You need no IR emitters and no line of sight. One driver covers both the Linux boxes (MAG 520, 522, 540) and the Android TV boxes (MAG 524, 544).

What you get

  • Pick your model family in one property. Linux boxes use the encrypted network remote protocol. Android boxes use ADB over TCP.
  • Simple pairing: type the 6-digit code from the TV, or tap Allow on Android.
  • The full remote: arrows, OK, back, menu, info, numbers, channel up/down, volume, mute, play/pause, fast-forward, rewind, colour keys and power.
  • Direct channel tuning from Control4 favourites and programming.
  • Feedback: online status, power state, the app in the foreground and the model (Android).
  • Launch apps and send text (Android). Text entry also works on Linux.
  • Reconnects on its own and keeps pairing through reboots.

Requirements

  • Control4 OS 3.0 or newer
  • A MAG box on the same network with a fixed IP
  • Remote control turned on (Linux) or Network debugging turned on (Android)
